Alba Berlin announced that American forward Tony Gaffney has broken his right hand during last week’s Eurocup game against Khimki Moscow and will miss almost one month and half of action.
After the medical examination revealed the full extent of his injury, it was decided that he will stay sidelined for about six weeks.
Gaffney is a pivotal aspect of Alba’s game, averaging 7.3 points and 5.7 rebounds per game in Eurocup so far in the season.
