Nizhny Novgorod and Ivan Strebkov have reached a mutual agreement on a contract extension until the end of the 2018/2019 season.
The 25-year-old Russian guard, who arrived in Nizhny last summer, has been one of the most instrumental players of his team, averaging 17.1 points, 5.5 assists and 4.1 rebounds in Eurocup.
“I’m very happy that I remain in nizhny Novgorod for two more years,” Strebkov said. “I want to thank the club for its trust. I hope that I will continue to develop in the future and progress my game together with the team. I’m absolutely sure that success will come to Nizhny Novgorod in the near future. I also want to give a special ‘thank you’ to the fans who continue to believe in us and remain with us, no matter what.”
