Shields has arrived to Trento on-loan from Fraport Skyliners late last season, and became a starter and one of key players during Trento’s run to the Italian League playoff finals.
The 23-year-old posted 10.1 points, 3.3 rebounds, 2.2 assists and 1.5 steals in 18 games wearing Trento uniform, after previously averaging 14 points, 5.3 rebounds, 1.7 assists and 1 steal playing for the Skyliners in the German League action.
Now, Trento and the young forward decided to stay together, which makes Shields set to make his 7DAYS EuroCup debut next season.
