Hapoel Jerusalem announced that it keeps Bar Timor for three more years. The Israeli player apparently came one step away from joining Maccabi Tel Aviv but ultimately decided to stay with the reigning champions.
The announcement of his transfer by EuroCup Basketball is as follows:
Hapoel Bank Yahav Jerusalem and point guard Bar Timor will be together for another three seasons after agreeing to new deal that ties two sides together until 2020. Timor (1.90 meters, 25 years old) helped Jerusalem win the Israeli League championship and reach the 7DAYS EuroCup semifinals last season. He averaged 4.7 points and 1.9 assists in 16 EuroCup games, mostly as a starter, and 10.0 points and 3.5 assists in the Israeli League. Timor has previously suited up for ALBA Berlin in Germany and Hapoel Haifa, Kiryat Tivon and Hapoel Tel Aviv in Israel. He is also a member of the Israeli national team.
