Dolomiti Energia Trento signed forward Chane Behanan, who will make his debut in European basketball with the club. Behanan (1.98 meters, 24 years old) is well known in basketball circles for his role in helping the University of Louisville win the NCAA championship in 2013. He has spent much of his professional basketball career to date in the D-League, where he has suited up for Rio Grande Valley, Reno and Salt Lake City. Last season Behanan averaged 8.7 points, 5.0 rebounds and 0.8 steals over 35 games split between Reno and Salt Lake City. Behanan has also played for teams in Mexico and Puerto Rico.
Fiat Turin added fire power to its roster by inking swingman Durand Scott to a one-year deal, the club announced Saturday. Scott (1.96 meters, 27 years old) arrives from Enel Brindisi, where he averaged 14.7 points and 5.4 rebounds in 28 Italian League games last season. He played the 2015-16 7DAYS EuroCup with Brindisi, averaging 9.4 points and 3.9 rebounds in eight games. Scott started his career with Blusens Monbus Obradoiro of Spain and also played for Hapoel Tel Aviv of Israel and Vaqueros de Bayamon of Puerto Rico. He has also been a member of the Jamaican national team.
