Butterfield (1.90 meters, 24 years old) arrives from JSF Nanterre, where he averaged 12.1 points on 40.7% three-point shooting, 4.3 rebounds and 2.3 assists in 33 French League games last season, in which he helped Nanterre win the French Cup and the FIBA Europe Cup titles.
He started his career with Melilla Baloncesto in the Spanish second division. He also played for Juventus Utenos before joining Nanterre last season. “I chose ALBA because it is a great club with an exexcellent reputation,” Butterfield said. “I am glad to be part of a program that always plays top-level basketball in both the German league and in Europe.”
