Barcelona announced that Senegalese center Moussa Diagne will be loaned to Andorra for the upcoming season, following an agreement between the two clubs.
The purpose of the loan is pretty much obvious. Diagne, 23, wouldn’t find much playing time with the Blaugrana in next season’s ventures and Andorra is ready to provide him with sufficient minutes on the floor in both EuroCup and Liga Endesa.
Diagne, who arrived in Barcelona in 2015 and has a contract until June 30, 2019, spent also the first half of 2016/2017 on loan, playing for Fuenlabrada. He averaged 7.4 points, 5.1 rebounds, and 1.2 blocks during 16 minutes per game in EuroCup.
