Lokomotiv Kuban Krasnodar beat Lietuvos Rytas Vilnius on the road with 93-85 and expanded its winning record to 3-0. The Lithuanian team slipped to 1-2.
Joe Ragland led Lokomotiv with nearly a double-double performance of 21 points and 9 assists, while Frank Elegar scored 17 points and grabbed 10 rebounds. For the hosts, Loukas Mavrokefalidis led the winning side with 22 points and 7 rebounds, while Rokas Gedraitis tapped 19 points.
An 11-4 lead by the visitors in the fourth quarter gave them the advantage to turn the game in their favor. Still, the Lithuanian side didn’t back down and pushed the game to overtime (81-81 at 40′). The extra five-minute period belonged to Lokomotiv, that managed to overcome its opponents.
Alba Berlin managed to prevail over Limoges CSP on the road with 73-65, improving its record to 2-1. The French side fell to a 1-2 record.
Luke Sikma paced the winners with 14 points and 8 rebounds, while for the opposing side Mam Jaiteh recorded a double-double of 15 points and 12 rebounds.
Finally, Partizan Nis Belgrade grabbed a great road win over Retabet Bilbao Basket in Spain with 96-92, the first one of the Serbian team in the competition this season.
Nigel Williams-Goss put on a monstrous performance of 27 points, 8 rebounds, and three assists, setting sights for the weekly MVP honor!
