In the opening game of Day 5 in EuroCup’s Group B, Lietkabelis beat Buducnost 86-79.
The star: Adas Juskevicius, or else, a perfect three-pointer executioner! He finished the game with seven straight three-pointer and a total of 9 overall, adding 31 points for the hosts, along with five assists.
Turning point: The visitors came back strong in the second half, trimming the deficit to just 2 points after 30 minutes (63-61), yet the Lithuanian side resisted and managed to pull away again in the final period.
Panavezys totally dominated the opening period of the game with 31-13 and managed to lead 45-38 at halftime, despite Buducnost’s outbreak in the second period.
