Zenit St. Petersburg were facing Tofas Bursa one of the most pleasant surprises in this season’s EuroCup and with about 15 seconds remaining, they were in danger of facing an upset at home.
Well, that definitely wasn’t the case. Not on Kyle Kuric’s watch. Lo and behold:

Apart from scoring the game-winner for the 84 – 82, Kuric registered new EuroCup career-highs in points (27) and PIR (27) while also grabbing six rebounds.
Drew Gordon added 16 points plus 9 rebounds while Marko Simonovic scored 14 and Sergey Karasev contributed 12 points plus seven assists.
For Tofas Bursa, Raymar Morgan had 17 points and Baris Ermis a double-double of 10 points/12 assists.
In France, Gran Canaria made a display of strength by defeatingASVEL 84 – 68 behind Marcus Eriksson’s 18 points and Ondrej Balvin’s 12 points plus 10 rebounds.
Charles Kahudi (14 points) and David Lighty (12 points) were the best the hosts had to offer.
Diego Flaccadori had his best EuroCup game ever (20 points, 7 assists, 3 steals, 25 PIR – all competition career-highs) as Trento beat Ratiopharm Ulm 77 – 66.
Jerrelle Benimon had 12 points while Da’Sean Butler and Ismet Akpinar dropped 11 points apiece.
