Lietuvos Rytas shot 0/16 from beyond the arc but that didn’t stop them from beating Limoges 69- 71 in France and “locking” second place in EuroCup Group B.
This result also drops Limoges to the fourth place in the Group. The French didn’t manage to take advantage of their opponents’ inability to make a 3-pointer, since they shot 24/68 from the field.
Meanwhile, Rytas was effective enough in its two-point attempts (27/45) to prevail. Egidijus Mockevicius finished with 13 points and 10 rebounds while Loukas Mavrokefalidis had 13 points plus 7 rebounds.
Kenny Hayes scored 14 points for Limoges and Axel Bouteille had 12 points and 7 rebounds.
