Following the defeat to Darussafaka at home for their opening game of the EuroCup Top 16, Galatasaray head coach Erman Kunter expressed his complaints about the fans’ behavior and discussed the recent acquisition of American forward Henry Walker.
“We don’t see much support,” said Kunter. “We do not see that support even we are up at the score. Now we brought a player (Henry Walker). He is slightly overweight, he is not playing for 2 months. We don’t have a lot of resources. It is not easy to get a very good player to bring plus to our club. We are prepared for everything. We continue to work.”
Galatasaray is off to a 5 – 8 start in the Turkish League, the club’s second worst in history.
