The Italian played with fire, but got the close 76-75 win behind 21 points by Amedeo Della Valle. The hosts got a solid 74-69 lead thanks to him with 13 seconds left, Unics managed to cut the lead to one after a three by Trent Locket but couldn’t steal the game.
The guests entered the last quarter with a 60-50 lead but it was not enough. Quino Colom (17 p. 11 as. 6 r.) and Stefan Lasme (18 p. 10 r.) had a great night which was not enough.
Unics is now left at 2-2, while Reggio Emilia has the tie breaker over them with two wins and a 3-1 record. ASVEL is tied with the Italians after beating Limoes (0-3). The final score was 87-61 with Justin Harper leading the way with 19 points.
