The game between Dolomiti Energia Trento and Lokomotiv Kuban held no major interest since both teams knew their future in the competition. This was Trento’s last game this season, while Lokomotiv had already won first place in Group G.
But there was another goal that Sasa Obradovic‘s players were aiming: Extending their unbelievable winning streak. Indeed, they caught their 16th (!) straight victory in EuroCup by beating Trento 74 – 71 on the road.
Ryan Broekhoff scored a team-high 13 points while grabbing 5 rebounds and dishing out 2 assists for Loko. Jorge Gutierrez had 17 points, 6 assists and 4 steals to be Trento’s top performer.
Meanwhile, in Podgorica, Buducnost crushed 84 – 52 Cedevita behind 14 points and 4 steals by Suad Sehovic.Roko Leni Ukic scored 10 for the Croatian team that ended the Top 16 winless and in a disappointing fashion.
