Oliver Stevic and MoraBanc Andorra extended the contract for one more season, according to club’s official website.
The 34-year-old Serbian center played 34 games last season averaging 6.4 points and 3.6 rebounds in 17 minutes of play but contributed much more behind the scenes as he shared the title of the team captain with Guille Colom.
MoraBanc Andorra GM Francesc Solana had nothing but the best to say about Stevic: “He is a very important player for us these last two seasons. For his performance, obviously, but also for how he helps to keep together a locker room with many nationalities. He is our captain and his commitment is more than demonstrated, for example, by the effort he has made the last five months of the season when he has been playing despite having an Achilles tendon injury. Now, we can only hope that he recovers well from the operation and that at the beginning of the season he can start to help us.”
