Partizan Belgrade officially unlocked the new ‘House of Partizan” in local Dedinje which will from now on be the club’s base of operations and also used this opportunity to reveal Nikola Loncar as the new General Manager.
Club President Ostoja Mijailovic is satisfied with how the reforms are going and had no doubt Partizan will return to EuroLeague: “Ambitions in Partizan are always high, we belong in Euroleague. I also think EuroCup will be stronger than ever. ABA League will be strong too. We always aim for the highest spot. We will bring rational reinforcements. We won’t chase the first place at all costs so we don’t repeat some mistakes from before.”
And if club’s economic situation is a pointer, it was a good year for Partizan as the club’s debt was roughly halved in ten months:“For ten months we have reduced the total debt by 3.528.000 while 3.800.000 still remains. It will be much more difficult to return that second part.”, Mijailovic warned.
