Martin Hermannsson is leaving France for Germany and Alba Berlin.

Icelander Martin Hermannsson is moving to Berlin after signing a two-year deal with Alba.

According to the EuroCup press release:

German League runner-up ALBA Berlin reinforced its guard position on Friday with the addition of Martin Hermannsson for the next two seasons. Hermannsson (1.90 meters, 23 years old) arrives from Chalons Reims of France, where last season he led the team with his 13.9 points per game, together with 5.7 assists. Hermannsson is also a player of the Iceland national team where he averaged 25.5 points, 3.3 rebounds and 4.3 assists in the last four World Cup qualifiers. After two years playing in Iceland, Hermannsson played college ball two years in Long Island. In 2016 he moved back to Europe to play in the French second division with Charleville-Mezieres before joining Chalons. This will be Hermannsson’s debut in the 7DAYS EuroCup.
