ASVEL announced the signing of French forward Livio Jean-Charles on a three-year deal. Jean-Charles returns to the team where he previously played from 2011 to 2016 and briefly in 2017.
With ASVEL, Jean-Charles is going to play in next season’s EuroCup and possibly debut in EuroLeague from 2018-2019, since the French club owned by Tony Parker has an agreement to potentially join the top-tier European competition.
Jean-Charles last played for Spanish club Unicaja Malaga. In eight games of the 2017-2018 ACB, the French forward averaged 4.1 points and 3.1 rebounds over 13 minutes per match.
