Lokomotiv Kuban announced the addition of American All-EuroCup forward/center JaJuan Johnson for the upcoming season.
Johnson, 29, comes from Turkish club Darussafaka Istanbul. Under coach David Blatt, Johnson helped Dacka win the EuroCup last season for the first time in the history of the franchise by averaging 13.9 points and 6.3 rebounds per game. He had 7.5 points, 9 rebounds, 3 blocks and 1.5 steals in the two Finals vs. Lokomotiv Kuban, of which he’s now a player.
With Lokomotiv Kuban, Johnson will continue playing in EuroCup and possibly have a chance for the repeat since the Russian team is considered among the main title contenders. Johnson will also return to play in VTB League where he previously competed with the jersey of Krasny Oktyabr in 2015.
