Lokomotiv Kuban is making serious off-season moves in order to get stronger and compete once again for the 7DAYS EuroCup trophy.
As the club announced on the official website, Mateusz Ponitka has officially signed with Lokomotiv Kuban, confirming Eurohoops sources.
The 24-year old last played in Spain for Herbalife Tenerife and had a good season, as he put up 13.6 points and 5.6 rebounds in the Spanish League. In his first quotes as a member of the Russian team, he expressed his happiness: “I’m very glad to be part of ‘Loko’. I look forward to coming to Russia. I know the head coach and I am confident that we will become a competitive team. I can’t wait for the VTB League and EuroCup games.”
