German League 2017-2018 top scorer Phil Scrubb signed a one-year contract with Russian EuroCup team Zenit St. Petersburg, the club announced.
Scrubb, 25, comes off a highly productive career with the Fraport Skyliners in Germany. The Canadian combo guard averaged 18.3 points per game (plus 3.8 assists and 3.4 rebounds) to be named German League Top Scorer of the season. He was subsequently won the league’s “Top Offensive Player” award and was named in the All-BBL Second Team.”
With Zenit, Scrubb will return playing in EuroCup where he briefly competed with AEK Athens in 2015.
