According to “L’Equipe” Mantas Kalnietis is expected to be the marquee signing of the French club ASVEL.
Kalnietis has a contract for next season with AX Armani Exchange Milan, however both sides have agreed to part ways.
The 31 years old Kalnietis had been the starting point guard of the Lithuanian national team for years and has won the bronze medal in the FIBA World Cup of 2010. He was the best passer of last year’s Eurobasket with 7,2 assists per game, however his numbers took a dive in Milan, where he averaged 4,5 points and two assists per game in the EuroLeague.
