The 28 years old guard Vitor Benite signed a one year contract with Cedevita, as the club announced. Born in 1990 at Sao Paulo, Benite will play under Spanish coach Sito Alonso.
Benite, who is also a member of the Brazilian national team, played in the NCAA for Southern Mississippi University and after that for his home country clubs of Pinheiros, Franca, Limeiro and Flamengo.
He has been a member of Murcia since 2015 and played in last season’s Basketball Champions League Final Four. In that competition, he averaged 11,5 points and 2,2 rebounds, while in the Spanish Liga Endesa he had 11.4 points and 1,5 rebounds while shooting with 41% efficiency from the three-point line.
