Galatasaray is interested in Slovenian center Alen Omic, according to Basketball Sphere. Omic, won’t continue with Crvena Zvezda following the completion of his contract with the Serbian powerhouse since the frontline up already features Maik Zirbes and Dusan Ristic.
Omic began the previous season with Hapoel Jerusalem but signed with Red Star in January. He helped the latter win the Serbian League title, earning Finals MVP in the process.
Throughout his career, Omic also played with Gran Canaria, Anadolu Efes and Unicaja Malaga with which he won the 2017 EuroCup.
