The second best scorer of last year’s Basketball Champions League competition, Jarrod Jones has signed a deal with Monaco, as the French team announced. The former Karsiyaka man averaged 18.8 points and 6.6 rebounds per game in last year’s competition.
In the 2016-2017 season, Jones played for Pesaro in the Italian League and posted up impressive numbers, averaging a double-double: 19.2 points, 10.0 rebounds per contest.
This summer, Jones participated in the NBA’s Las Vegas Summer League competition with the Miami Heat. The 28-year old will undoubtedly have an impact on the French team; the question is how far can Monaco go in this year’s 7DAYS EuroCup contest.
