In the first 7DAYS EuroCup pre-season game of the 2018-2019 season, ASVEL Villeurbanne easily defeated Mornar Bar 88-68.
It is ASVEL’s third preseason win in as many games, and it booked a place in the final of the Aint Star Game tournament, where it will face JDA Dijon on Saturday. Mornar will place in a fifth-place game against JL Bourg.
ASVEL took the lead from the start behind 8 points from Miro Bilan, quickly extended the advantage to double digits, and kept such lead. ASVEL went into the break up 36-26 and remained comfortably in front even when the scoring picked up in the third quarter. The French side took a 69-53 lead in the final quarter and cruised to victory, per EuroCup Basketball.
