The two 7DAYS EuroCup teams are having friendly pre-season games in Turkey, getting ready for this upcoming season.
In an all-7DAYS-EuroCup showdown in Izmir, Turkey, Galatasaray Istanbul topped Turk Telekom Ankara 81-79 on Friday. Nigel Hayes led the winners with 21 points. Aaron Harrison and Zach Auguste each added 12 for Galatasaray. Auguste grabbed 14 rebounds for a double-double. Sylven Landesberg led Telekom with 18 points. Vladimir Stimac added 17, T.J. Campbell had 11 while Kaya Peker and Ender Arslan each had 10 for Telekom.
In a friendly game in Antalya, Turkey, Tofas did not find much trouble to down Bahcesehir 92-76 at Gloria Sports Arena. Diante Garrett led the winners with 21 points. Kyle Weems added 10 for Tofas, which led 26-24 after 10 minutes, extended its margin to 47-33 at halftime and kept full control of the game after the break to cruise to a well-deserved win, per EuroCup Basketball.
