Unics Kazan announced the signing of American guard Errick McCollum. The player signed a 1+1 contract with the Russian VTB League and EuroCup club.
McCollum will debut in VTB League and return to play in EuroCup, the competition he won in 2016 with Galatasaray while earning season MVP honors. The 30-year-old player had averaged 18.1 points, 4.3 rebounds and 3.5 assists in 28:54 minutes, leading the Turkish team to the first continental trophy in the history of the club.
In 2017-2018, McCollum played in Turkey with Anadolu Efes. In his maiden EuroLeague season, he averaged 14.6 points, 2.4 rebounds and 2.3 assists over 26:28 minutes per game.
