Alba Berlin announced the acquisition of American forward/center Clint Chapman on a two-month contract. Chapman arrives at the German club to replace injured forward/center Dennis Clifford.
Chapman, 29, spent the previous season in Japan with the Hiroshima Dragonflies. In the Japanese League, Chapman averaged 15.8 points, 8.6 rebounds and 1.6 blocks per game.
Prior to signing with Alba, Chapman was a part of the training camp roster of Olympiacos. He made an impression thanks to a 17-point performance (4/6 3-pointers) in a win over Unicaja Malaga.
