Rytas Vilnius prevailed over Unicaja 80-72 at home in the first game of the 2018-19 EuroCup season! The Lithuanian team got a big win on day one and was motivated by Eurohoops’ power ranking, according to coach Adomaitis as he mentioned to the press.
Eimantas Bendzius was the leading scorer of the winners, adding 18 points along with four rebounds. Evaldas Kairys followed with 15 points, six rebounds, and three assists.
The visiting team was paced by Matthias Lessort and Brian Roberts, who posted 16 and 13 points respectively.
Group D action continues tomorrow as Fraport Skyliners takes over Fiat Turin and Mornar Bar faces Unics Kazan.
