Valencia used a strong outbreak in the final three minutes to overcome Turk Telekom 72-67 on the road and grabbed its second victory in the new 7DAYS EuroCup season.
The Spanish side was paced by Will Thomas, who stepped up with 16 points and five rebounds, followed by Bojan Dubljevic’s 12-point performance.
Notably, Sam Van Rossom was the enchanted hero for Valencia, as he flirted with the double-double (8 points, 12 assists, 4 steals) and finished with 25 index rating points.
On the other side of the court, Sylven Landesberg was the leading scorer for the Turkish side, adding 16 points.
On Tuesday, Partizan Belgrade grabbed its first win of the season by beating Zenit St. Petersburg 89-82 at home, while ASVEL Villeurbanne also celebrated a 75-61 home victory over Trento.
