Cedevita Zagreb earned its first win of the season after defeating Alba Berlin 75-73 at home in a thrilling finale.
Vitor Benite posted 17 points for the winners, while Justin Cobbs finished with a double-double of 15 points and 10 assists. Alba’s Rokas Giedraitis posted a team-high of 14 points.
An interesting duel occurred in Group B a bit earlier, as Lokomotiv Kuban defended its home court against Limoges and prevailed 82-64. Dmitry Kulagin posted a game-high of 15 points for the Russians, while on the other side Dwight Hardy finished with 11 points for the French team.
Last but certainly not least, Tofas Bursa dominated Arka Gdynia at home with 96-79. Two players played a key role to the victory; Kenny Kadji finished the game with a double-double performance of 27 points and 10 rebounds, while Diante Garrett scored 23 points and grabbed nine rebounds.
