Unicaja Malaga blew an 18-point lead against Fiat Turin on the road, went behind the score in the final moments but ultimately got the 105 – 104 win thanks to none other than Jaime Fernandez.
With eight seconds remaining, Fernandez drove to the basket and hit the floater that was the game-winner, capping an overall MVP performance (19 points, five assists, 23 PIR).

Jamil Wilson (22 points, four rebounds) had given Turin the lead with a dunk and a quite difficult, off-balance mid-range jumper. The Italian team made a commendable effort from 18 points down late in the first half but lost in the details.
In the other Group D games, Unics Kazan (Jamar Smith 16 points, five assists) overcame Fraport Skyliners and Thomas Brady Heslip (25 points) 83 – 80 at home.
Meanwhile, in Montenegro, Rytas Vilnius crushed Mornar Bar 92 – 69 with six players in double figures and 21-year-0ld Martynas Echodas notching a game-high 19 PIR (13 points, six rebounds). Bronson Koenig scored 14 for Mornar Bar.
