Lokomotiv Kuban forced Limoges to 27 points in the second half to take a 72 – 64 victory on the road and advance to the EuroCup Top 16.
While defense was the star for the Russian team, Dorell Wright (16 points), Dmitry Kulagin (15 points, six rebounds) and Jamel McLean (12 points, seven rebounds) made things happen also on the other end.
Axel Bouteille (17 points) and Dwight Hardy (14 points) were the top contributors for Limoges that was up 37 – 33 at halftime but struggled after the break.
Cedevita captured its second win and it was a mighty one. In an offensive festival that took place in Berlin, the Croatian team outscored Alba 109 – 102 behind 20 points and nine assists by Justin Cobbs, 18 points by Jacob Pullen and 17 by Vitor Benite.
Despite the loss, Alba checked a spot in the Top 16. Rokas Gedraitis (16 points), Jonas Mattissecks (16 points, four assists) Niels Giffey (15 points) and Luka Sikma (11 points, 10 rebounds) were the best Alba had to offer.
On Tuesday (13/11), Tofas Bursa beat Arka Gdynia away from home.
