Germani Brescia Leonessa got a big win and the race for the Top16 in Group A of the 7Days EuroCup became even more crowed. The Italians beat Galatasaray with ease, as the final 86-65 demonstrates.
The trio of Bryon Allen (18 p.), Jordan Hamilton (14 p.) and Gerald Beverly (13 p.) led a balanced effort for the hosts, who started the second half with a 16-0 run, got an 24-point lead (64-40) and Galatasaray couldn’t react after that. To be exact the score in the third period was 18-5 in favor of Brescia.
Awudu Abass added 14 points for the hosts. Nigel Hayes with 16 points and Zach Auguste with 12 tried their best for the losing side, which is now tied with the Italians and Ulm at 3-5.
On Tuesday, Monaco and Andorra got the wins and the French side became the only team of the group which already has a ticket for Top16.
