Fraport Skyliners joined the Top 16 round with a 65-63 victory against Rytas Vilnius in Round 8 of 7DAYS EuroCup. Jason Clark led the German side with 14 points and four rebounds.
Safely into the Top 16, Unics Kazan had no trouble against Fiat in Turin, as the Russians prevailed with an 82-72 win and Jamar Smith working wonders from the three-point line (23 points, 5/8 threes).
Unicaja Malaga, that has also advanced to the next round, showed no mercy to Mornar Bar and downed their visitors 113-76. Giorgi Shermandini put on a nearly-perfect game with 19 points, followed by Kyle Wiltjer and Sasu Salin that also dropped 17 points each. Mornar’s place now becomes tougher as they sink to 2-8, only above Fiat that remains the only winless team of the competition.
