Lokomotiv Kuban Krasnodar climbed to an 8-1 record after beating Cedevita Zagreb 80-76. The hosts got a 71-62 lead with four minutes left, Cedevita tried to mount a comeback, but crucial free throws by Mateusz Ponitka, Jamel McLean and Dima Kulagin sealed the deal.
Ponitka finished the game with 17 points, while McLean and Dorell Wright added 11 points each.
Both teams have qualified for the Top 16 and ALBA Berlin which hosts Loko in the last round of regular season has a chance of stealing the top from them. ALBA and Limoges got their wins yesterday.
