Limoges forward and projected lottery pick in the 2019 NBA Draft Sekou Doumboya will miss five to seven weeks of action, the French club announced.
Doumbouya, 18, will need to undergo surgery in order to fix a ligament problem with his right-hand thumb. He sustained the injury during a French League game vs. Boulazac.
This means that Doumbouya will most likely miss the entirety of the EuroCup Top 16 that is completed on February 6.
Doumbouya averages 6.8 points and 2.9 rebounds over 14:53 minutes in EuroCup.
