Unicaja Malaga defeated Limoges 79 – 72 and improved its EuroCup Group G record to 2-1 halfway through the Top 16 stage.
With this loss, Limoges is now 0-3. Their next game vs. Malaga at home might be a “do-or-die” affair.
Adam Waczynski scored a game-high 16 points with 4/5 triples for Malaga. Giorgi Shermadini had 13 points and five rebounds, Brian Roberts 10 points while Mathias Lessor finished with 10 points and eight boards.
Dwight Hardy notched 13 points and Isaiah Miles 12 points and five rebounds for Limoges.
