Alba Berlin improved its EuroCup Group E record to 2-1 by beating Rytas Vilnius 94 – 86 away from home in overtime.
Former Rytas player Rokas Giedraitis scored a game-high 23 points while Luke Sikma had an all-around output of 19 points, 12 rebounds and six assists for a game-high 33 PIR.
Artsiom Parakhouski posted a double-double of 16 points and 10 rebounds for Rytas. DJ Seeley added 16 points.
On Tuesday (15/1), Monaco defeated Partizan Belgrade. The Serbian team’s comeback wasn’t completed and coach Andrea Trinchieri admitted their opponents’ superiority with a colorful comment.
