Vitaly Fridzon set a new EuroCup career-high 24 points, leading Lokomotiv Kuban to an 84 – 81 road win over Ratiopharm Ulm.
Dorell Wright added 14 points and six assists for Loko. He also scored the pair of free throws that made it 79 – 84 with nine seconds left to play to”lock” his team’s victory. Trevor Lacey also scored 14.
For Ulm, Ismet Akipnar had 14 points. Patrick Miller had 13 points and five assists.
In Frankfurt, ASVEL defeated local Fraport Skyliners 70 – 58 to stay unscathed in the Group. Theo Maledon scored 15 for ASVEL while Jonas Wohlfarth-Bottermann had 17 points from the German team.
