ASVEL Villeurbanne crushed Fraport Skyliners 75 – 52 to improve its EuroCup Top 16 record to 4-0 and stay the only undefeated team in Group F.
With two rounds remaining for the stage to be completed, ASVEL may punch a quarterfinals ticket Wednesday (23/1) if Lokomotiv Kuban defeats Ratiopharm Ulm at home.
AJ Slaughter scored 16 points and Theo Maledon 12 for ASVEL that took a 38 – 16 at halftime and remained in control for the remainder of the match. Amine Noua had 11 points and seven boards while Alpha Kaba grabbed 12 rebounds and dropped eight points.
Only Jason Clark finished in double figures for Skyliners with 13 points. The German team is still winless in the Group.
