Behind 20 points by Dorell Wright and with the trio of Vitaly Fridzon, Jajuan Johnson and Mateusz Ponitka scoring 10 points each, Lokomotiv Kuban got the easy 88-76 win over ratiopharm Ulm.
The final score is almost flattering for the Germans who were trailing by 17 points (71-54) at the end of the third period and couldn’t pressure the hosts, despite 16 points by Javonte Green.
Lokomotiv led from wire to wire despite missing injured Jamel McLean and thanks to this win the Russian contenders and also unbeaten ASVEL qualified for the quarterfinals, leaving the German duo of Ulm and Fraport Skyliners Frankfurt out.
