Artsiom Parakhouski was certainly the EuroCup player of the week. He drained his last-second shot to lead Rytas Vilnious over Partizan NIS on the road. The Lithuanians retained their playoffs hopes and eliminated the hosts with 31-year-old Parakhouski’s clutch effort.
The winning shot wasn’t it for the Belarusian center that added the Top 16 Round 5 MVP title to his tally. He scored a game-high 22 points making 10/11 from the field in Belgrade, also grabbed eight rebounds and blocked three shots for a performance index rating of 30. His PIR was the highest among the players of the winning teams.
