Ratiopharm Ulm became the first team to beat ASVEL Villeurbanne in the EuroCup Top 16. The German side took a 86 – 68 win in what was its last game this season in the competition.
Despite the loss, ASVEL finished the Top 16 with the first seed in Group F. Ulm bids farewell to the competition since it is third with 3-3.
Ismet Akipnar scored 17 points, dished out seven assists and rebounded the ball five times for Ulm while Javonte Green added 17 points as well.
Mantas Kalnietis was the top ASVEL player with 16 points and seven assists.
