Peyton Siva led ALBA Berlin to the 79-75 comeback win against Unicaja Malaga. It wasn’t just any game, but the third and deciding of the series versus the Spanish club. The 28-year-old American point guard was named MVP of the EuroCup Quarterfinals Game 3 with his index rating of 16, the highest PIR of the week.
It was do-or-die for all six teams that went through a third game in the quarterfinals stage. The German side fell in a 13-point hole, but Siva fueled a 9-0 run dishing three helpers for as many shots beyond the arc. He finished with a 15-point, 10-assist double-double.
