Following its first run in a European club competition as part of the Basketball Champions League 2018-19 season, Promitheas is looking to move to 7DAYS EuroCup. The Greek team’s president, Hristos Milas, disclosed to Peloponisos newspaper that the club has contacted the organizers.
“It’s no secret we contacted Euroleague Basketball. We are discussing the club’s future determined for Promitheas’ best interests. We will soon make our final decision” he mentioned.
Provided ongoing negotiations don’t hit a snag, Promitheas will become the first Greek EuroCup team since BCL started three years ago.
