In theory Khimki is not yet the Eurocup winner, since there’s still a second final to be played. However the Russians got the second game at home and beat already on the road Gran Canaria 91-66.
Egor Vyaltsev and Petteri Koponen scored 18 points each to lead the winners, Eurocup MVP Tyrese Rice added 13 points and 5 assists and Paul Davis proved that he is his real self again with 17 points and 6 rebounds. Kyle Kuric scored 23 points for the hosts in a game that was decided in the last quarter. The score in the last ten minutes was 32-12 for the winners.
