Tyrece Rice and ten others!

By Lefteris Moutis/ moutis@eurohoops.net

Tyrese Rice became the first player to win the MVP award in the Euroleague and the Eurocup and in two consecutive seasons, no less! He’s not the only one however who managed to win both titles.

Khimki’s American leader became the first MVP of the Euroleague’s Final Four that continued his career in the very next season in a Eurocup team. However, the amazing Tyrese Rice achieved one more thing: he became the first that emerged as an MVP in both events (tournaments), while he became the first to win both titles in two consecutive seasons.

Take a look at the list below with the last ten players to achieve this in the new era of the Euroleague and the Eurocup, with the first ones to do so being the best buddies Antonis Fotsis and Lazaros Papadopoulos in 2006 wearing Dynamo Moscow’s jersey.
