Darussafaka Tekfen will be the next stop for Joe Ragland, the Turkish team announced on Friday morning. The 29-year-old American guard inked a one-year contract.
The experienced player is coming off his third 7DAYS EuroCup campaign averaging 14.8 points, 6 assists and 1.9 rebounds per contest in 16 appearances with Crvena Zvezda mts. He is now set for his fourth season in the competition.
As for his ABA League performance during the 2018-19 season, Ragland posted 14.8 points, 5.3 assists and 1.7 rebounds. He secured a spot in the ABA League Ideal Starting Five helping his side capture the championship, also led Crvena Zvezda to the Serbian League title.
His other two EuroCup campaigns came with Cantu in 2013-14 and Lokomotiv Kuban in 2017-18. With Milan in 2014-15 he debuted in the EuroLeague and returned with Pinar Karsiyaka the next season, which also marked his first visit to Turkey.
